Chibis100
basic chibi (transparent background)
+40
background or specific animal/object (Basic things, such as random books, have no charge.)
+60
per extra chibi in the picture
Note: If you would like a chibi to face a certain direction and/or hold a certain pose, I would be happy to draw that for you, so please don't hesitate to ask! Some people like to use my chibis on their pages, and I'd be more than happy to make one to show off your commission info or tumble around your deviantID.
Semirealism400
head and shoulder shot
700
colored fullbody picture (transparent background)
+100
basic background or specific simple animal/object
+300
detailed animal/object (eg. a cat with a very particular and complex pattern on its fur)
+500
complex background
+600
per extra character in the picture
(A basic background means something simple and abstract. A complex background means a detailed location and may include the sky, buildings, trees, clouds, or other things. If you want something in between, I'm open to negotiation. If you don't want a background, your character(s) will be on a transparent background)
Subject MatterI'll do my best with any picture. Please understand that I don't draw mature content, such as blood/gore, sexuality
or cleavage,* profanity, etc.
*I'm a prude.
SkillsI'm best at humans and can draw people of any age, race, or size. You can browse
my gallery to see what type of backgrounds I typically draw. If something is too hard for me (this is unlikely; I like challenges), then we can work out something else or I'll return your points. You may want to commission another artist if you're looking for mecha, furries in tricky poses, or detailed architecture.
If something is tricky for me, I'll scour the internet for good references, so don't worry about the quality going kaput.
What Happens When You Commission MeGenerally you pay me and then I draw your picture. If this makes you uncomfortable, we can do it differently.
Once you've paid, please note me with the following information
~Whom you'd like me to draw
~If you paid extra for a background, please specify what sort of background you'd like.
~Exactly what you paid for (if you give me 400
, then you could want four separate chibi pictures, or a head and shoulder shot, or...)
For OCs:
~Please provide a reference picture if you or someone else has drawn any. One reference is good, two references are great, and it just keeps getting better the more I can look at.
~It would help if you filled out
this character description form for a regular commission, or
this abbreviated form for a chibi. While it isn't strictly necessary, it will make it very unlikely that I end up noting you with a request for more detail on a certain physical trait.
I will note you back to say thanks and inform you that I'll be starting on your picture.
TimingTiming depends on a picture's complexity, as well as how much homework I have. Chibis usually take between 2 days and one week. Complex pictures may take a week or longer.
I can give you updates on progress by posting WIPs on Sta.sh, but it's also nice for it to be a surprise! I'm more comfortable with not posting WIPs, simply because I've had cases in which people become hypercritical ("Her face looks weird. Her nose isn't that long! You should draw her eyes differently") and... it's not very fun. However, if at any time you would like to see a WIP, I would be happy to upload one to my Sta.sh for you.
I keep track of various projects on my
to-do list.
Adding ThingsIf at any time you'd like me to add something (such as another person), just send me a note or comment and pay for the extra.
If you haven't specified what the character should be doing in the picture, I may draw more than you paid for (for example, putting in a book when you didn't pay for props). Sometimes I feel that a picture would be more complete with a specific prop or a little extra detail in the background. You do not need to pay for the extra.
Finding and Keeping Your ArtI may submit your commission to scraps or as a gallery deviation. I'll make sure it appears in your inbox. You will be able to download it if you'd like, but don't feel the need, as the picture will never be deleted. If at any time you lose it, you can find it again in
this folder or by searching for the character's name in my gallery.
You may repost the picture on other websites as long as you credit me (MissLunaRose on deviantART) appropriately. Here is a tutorial on displaying artwork that should cover everything you might need to know.
